REVIEWS

Original theoretical or empirical papers showing significant contribution in the above areas are invited. Papers showing the successful real-world applications on intelligent learning systems are especially encouraged.

JILSA publishes three types of articles: regular papers, review papers and brief papers. Review management is primarily under the direction of an associate editor, who will solicit reviews for each submission. The associate editor will ordinarily make a recommendation after receiving three independent reviews. To avoid delays in processing your paper, please follow these guidelines.

JILSA will try to make a rapid and rigorous reviewing process for all submitted papers. Normally, authors can get the reviewing results and decisions within 12 weeks after the submission.

Submission of Manuscripts

All correspondence concerning submissions is between the author and the Editor in Chief at  xinxu@nudt.edu.cn and Co-Editor-in-Chief at hhe@stevens.edu

All materials submitted to JILSA must be original research and should not be published, or under review concurrently to another journal or conference. Please ensure that in the cover letter (comments to editor-in-chief), the work being submitted has not been published elsewhere, nor is it under review currently by another publication. Please follow the style files given in the following links. Papers may not exceed 30 pages (this is not a crisp limit).

Papers which have less than 10 pages length will not be considered as a regular paper. The review of this type of submission will be made subject to a special fast procedure and will only take place if the paper reports about a new development, which is served by rapid publication, relevant comments on articles published in the journal, or about outstanding preliminary results of current research. Authors are requested to make a note of this while submitting the paper.

Submitted papers must be in English. Authors should submit the electronic version of their papers in postscript or PDF formats to the submission system on the website:

                                      http://www.scirp.org/journal/jilsa/

Upon the receiver of your submission, a confirmation email with a paper ID will send to the corresponding author. Please include the paper ID in all your future correspondence. The final decision on publication is made by the EIC upon recommendation of an Associate Editor..

Proofs
Proofs will be sent to the corresponding author and should be returned with TWO weeks of receipt. Corrections should be restricted to typesetting errors; any other corrections may be charged to the authors. Authors are advised to check their proofs very carefully before return, since the inclusion of late corrections may not be acceptable. Corrected proofs are to be returned to the publishers.
